SC Virtus organised the second tennis course for female beginners in Ljubljana on May 28th

The Slovenian lead partner of the Tennis For Women project, TC Virrtus, organised the second tennis course for female participants, aged 13 – 27, on May 28th in Ljubljana. 

Fourty-six girls attended the tennis course on the tennis courts of the Zsport Tennis Center handled by eight tennis instructors. 

The course started off at 9:30 AM with the project presntatin and participants learning the fundamentals of tennis followed by learning the basics and tennis playing using their newly-acquired skillset. The tennis course followed the fundamental training routine: warm up, central part, and cool down, with the goal to teach the participants proper way of all exercises.

The tennis course eparticipats were also served refreshing snacks and drinks.

After completing the tennis course, besides the knowledge of tennis rules the participants have the basic tennis elements in their repertoire: the serve, forehand, backhand, volley, overhead smash, and lob. They are now able to play tennis independently.

The tennis course participants rated the course as very good and that atmosphere was very pleasant.
