Third project meeting held in Veli Lošinj

Veli Lošinj (Croatia), 19-21 January 2024

Tennis Club Lošinj-Jadranka hosted the 3rd project meeting between  the 19th and the 21st of January 2024 in Veli Lošinj. The partners reviewed the ongoing of the project and focused on the materials developed for the next phase of the project. The representatives of TC Lošinj-Jadranka presented the guidelines and 5 video learning tools for trainers and coaches developed based on the bases of the project desk research review, the collected best practices and knowledge and transfer at the Hackathon event.

The developed materials are based on an innovative methodology that constist of effective exercise programme, enabling to learn basic tennis elements in short time period. The training methods will include the use of digital technology and proper techniques to improve the effectiveness of the learning process. The learning process will be videotaped in order to prepare video analysis of tennis techniques, which will be used to show and explain to participants the mistakes and how to correct them.

The partners also discussed the next project steps i.e. the organisation of the workshops for coaches in February 2024 and the organisation of the of tennis courses for female beginners in May 2024. The final project Conference will be held in Ljubljana in June 2024.
