One month after our official project launch, the Tennis4Women 2.0 team met in person for the first time. From 6 to 8 March 2026, all four project partners gathered in Ljubljana, Slovenia, hosted by project coordinator ŠK Virtus at Krekov trg 7. Representatives from Tennis Club Lošinj Jadranka (Croatia), Player Zone Tennis Academy (Serbia), and Institute IMPACT (Slovenia) made the trip to Ljubljana for two full working days — followed by a cultural programme on the final day, organised by Virtus.

The meeting covered the key building blocks of the project. Partners aligned on the desk research process, agreeing that each organisation will identify and document a minimum of five best-practice examples of initiatives that successfully increase women's participation in sport. A shared template will be used across all partners to ensure consistency, and all materials will be compiled into a joint project handbook. Work on this starts immediately, with submissions due by the end of March.

A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to the e-learning toolkit — one of the project's main outputs. The structure and content of the toolkit were discussed and agreed upon in principle, with each partner taking responsibility for contributing one to two content modules. TK Lošinj Jadranka will produce a series of six how-to tennis stroke videos covering techniques from forehand basics to combining shots in play. Player Zone Tennis Academy will produce one video per month for twelve consecutive months, covering topics from motivation and accessibility to mental health and community stories. Institute IMPACT will provide methodological and pedagogical guidance throughout the development process.

Partners also confirmed the communication strategy. All partners are now active on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn using the hashtags #Tennis4Women, #ErasmusSport and #GenderEqualityInSport. A unified visual identity will be used across all channels, in line with EU Erasmus+ visibility rules. The first project newsletter is planned for the end of April.

With the action plan confirmed and deadlines agreed, Tennis4Women 2.0 is now in full motion. The next transnational partner meeting will take place in Belgrade, Serbia in the coming months.
