Second transnational meeting of the TENNIS4WOMEN 2.0 partners in Belgrade

From 4 to 6 September 2026, the partners of the Erasmus+ Sport project TENNIS4WOMEN 2.0 met in Belgrade for their second transnational meeting, hosted by Player Zone Tennis Academy. Sport Club Virtus, Tennis Club Lošinj-Jadranka, Institute Impact and the hosts spent three days reviewing the work done since the first meeting in Ljubljana and planning the next steps.

The meeting opened with a review of the deliverables due by the end of September: the desk research with best practices from across Europe, the partners' cooperation framework, the communication material and the implementation progress report.

The central topic was the e-learning toolkit for coaches, trainers and volunteers. Partners reviewed the draft educational materials – content, learning methods, practical activities, accessibility and design – and agreed on a revision plan and timeline for its finalisation. This was followed by a session on communication and dissemination, where the action plan for the coming months was updated.

The final working session focused on implementation: the concept and delivery of the coaching workshops, the Tennis4Women events for girls and young women, and the multiplier events that will bring the project results to a wider audience, together with the evaluation process. Sunday was reserved for cultural exchange – a walk through Belgrade and a view of the city from above, courtesy of the hosts.

TENNIS4WOMEN 2.0 aims to increase the participation of girls and young women in recreational tennis, strengthen sports organisations and promote an active lifestyle through sport. The first activities on court are coming – stay tuned.
