Tennis for Women 2.0
PROJECT SUMMARY
What is Tennis for Women 2.0?
TENNIS4WOMEN 2.0 is an Erasmus+ Sport Small-scale Partnership project aimed at increasing the participation of girls and young women in grassroots tennis and promoting inclusive, health-enhancing physical activity across Europe.
The project combines capacity building, practical implementation and dissemination. It supports grassroots sport organisations, coaches and volunteers through desk research, best practice exchange and the development of an innovative, gender-sensitive training methodology, complemented by an open-access e-learning toolkit.
At the same time, TENNIS4WOMEN 2.0 directly engages girls and young women through tennis activities and pilot courses, testing and refining project tools in real-life settings. Through transnational cooperation, targeted communication and multiplier events, the project ensures wide visibility and transferability of results.
Overall, the project supports Erasmus+ Sport objectives by promoting gender equality, strengthening grassroots sport ecosystems and encouraging lifelong participation in physical activity through recreational tennis.
